New updates for IUCN statuses - summer 2021

[Cynogale bennettii II]

So, the IUCN Red List's most recent update dropped tonight and I have begun searching through for any changes - it seems that this update is focusing heavily on reptiles. These are the changes I have found so far:

• Komodo dragon should be moved from Vulnerable to Endangered
• Nile monitor should be moved from Data Deficient to Least Concern
• Yellow anaconda should be moved from Data Deficient to Least Concern

Watching the red list is often depressing.

Poor komodos. However I'm glad when animals go out of DD. Helps conservation.

The next Red List update came through today, but I don't think there have been enough changes to Planet Zoo animal statuses to warrant a new thread. The one change I could find is:

• Puff adder should be moved from Data Deficient to Least Concern

Another Red List update dropped today, which again only has one change in status for a Planet Zoo species. It is also an upgrade, which is good news:

• Danube crested newt should be moved from Near Threatened to Least Concern

I hope the devs will check this thread out, I believe from these only the Nile Monitor was changed in game?

Thats nice to hear.
Its really suck to be an amphibian these days and its great that atleast these newts are save
