Newcomer / Intro New User and Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick

Hi....Just got the game and I gotta say the graphics are stunning

I am trying to setup my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick.....I have some of it working the way I want but having problems with the POV or views and the throttle

Anyone can point me to the proper are for this ?

I have the same joystick, i personally couldn't get it working to how i like it, so i had to move to mouse and keyboard, works better that way for me, now i just got to sort out my combat turning capabilities and i will be all set.

I have same joystick but I use kb&m for views and throttl. I couldn't get the level of control I wanted with the throttle.

Without knowing what works for you or what is a "proper" way:

I for one am not using the base buttons or the throttle. The latter is mapped but Throttle and Thruster controls are on the
keyboard in quite the FPS manner. I recently ditched forward and backward thrusters completely. Not crazily happy with
this but it works better than before. The hat switch is for power distribution and with CAPS as a modifier to look around.

That wasn't the issue for me, i just couldn't get it to work to my liking.

My controls still need some tweaking so I had a look at that and I wonder about the hat switch for Thrusters:
I can't be a good idea to give up Secondary Fire when you use them, can it? Or do you counter this with an extended
use of Fire Groups?
Also, looks like terrible lot of the left hand moving between joystick and keyboard?

I just use mine with standard settings and keyboard. Ive sort of got used to it that way...
