New "Watch me play" series - what rules would you apply - comment welcome.

Hello all,

In the past I've really enjoyed watching "Someguy plays a game" video series on YouTube. I'm thinking about starting one for my experiences with Elite: Dangerous. I've had a quick dip into the game (about three hours total) so while not a complete novice I'm not far off. I have really enjoyed what I've seen and experienced in that time so I'm ready to commit albeit with extremely limited knowledge. Here's what I'm thinking of doing:

Ironman - death is death. Back to the Sidewinder! I'll create a new series every time I die.
RPG - all communication in-game to be in-character
Google? - no access to rl internet. In game, in character learning only. (As much as possible, I'd like to listen to Lave radio for example!)

What other conditions do you think I should apply?

I'm looking for ideas which will drive player interaction and force exploration. I will be keeping a written log to record details of interesting or dangerous locations and other pertinent issues. I think the Ironman and no Googling should keep things interesting. There's a danger I'll blunder around more than I might otherwise, but I think it will drive player interaction as I ask other Cmdrs for advice and guidance in character and in game, a little caution is also a good thing and will make every combat significantly more stressful! There's also an opportunity for humour when I buy the wrong commodities or fight back when I should flee risking my one and only life!

Looking to launch with a conditions, rig, and rules video over the weekend and regular 60 minute game play videos following weekly thereafter.

My only suggestion is that if you have a voice-over commentary that you keep the language completely clean. I know it might seem like a chore but you instantly open up a much bigger audience at essentially zero cost to yourself.
.
I do like these type of series but if I watch one and there is bad language then it means my daughter cannot be in the room at the same time and I struggle to recommend to anyone else who has kids.
.
Good luck with whatever you decide :)

Most likely recording these with my five, four, and three year old daughters within earshot. I expect they'll be Uc rated!
