General Gameplay New Water Idea

Your Feature Request / Idea
Many of us get fustrated about the water. Unable to build deep lakes, so deep that a Brachiosaurus can just pop it's neck out. (Start of Jurassic Park)

We can't build deep swamps, where the top of our tree, barely come out, we can only have low grass.

My Idea's are basic and I think simple but I'm no gaming developer.

1. Let us build on an incline = What I mean by this is currently to make a lake/pond, you have to have a flat open surface, I think it should be made so you can build on any surface. E:G you have a large hill, you want water to go down the hill like a stream then this should be possible, or if you want a deep lake in the middle of your herbivore enclosure then do it.

if you was to have a solid cliff edge and placed water at the top then you could create a man made waterfall.

So Idea 1 is make water on any incline or decline.
Idea 2. Water between buildings and close to paths. Many of us notice that small gaps between building you can't have anything, This should be ammended in my opinion, I would love to put a shopping area on an island, but what I get is path or building, abit of grass then the water. I think we should be able to allow the water to run between the buildings.

Idea 3 - Wave motion, meaning that like the graphical detail they put in the oceans around the islands, this should be put into the lakes that we create, to a certain extent, not waves but just moving water. Having this would also mean that when a dinosaur goes into the water the water will move around it, and for the larger dinosaurs the water will go up onto the banking. Also it would mean that when we get light rain the rain will create rings on the lake, it also means that in heavy storms you would get the wave motions, as if a fight was happening beneath the water.
If we could though we could create waterfalls and everything if we had water on any surfaces
