Hardware & Technical New x52 Pro - Quick question to existing owners

Hello Spacefans,

I bought a Saitek X52 pro at the weekend, and the display on the throttle housing is extremely dim. Like an LCD clock that has a very low battery. The back-light itself lights up ok, but the display is weird. Is this normal? Is there some settings somewhere that I've missed? I've installed the drivers and the profile utility from the Saitek website, but I can't find anything to adjust the LCD contrast.

Another thing is that periodically, It loses connection to Windows. (I hear the device unplug / replug sound) - Again, is this common?

Thanks
Spooner

Sounds like you're exceeding the current draw for your USB hub, though Windows usually warns you when you're doing that. How many devices do you have running off it? Is it connected to a main USB socket located on the motherboard or a satellite one on a monitor/keyboard/other peripheral?

It's plugged into a powered (from a PSU) USB 2 hub. Good call though, i'll try it in one of the main USB2 ports.
