When I first setup the x56 I had issues with throttle not zeroing. I had to play with the dead zones of the analog thumb sticks to get it to zero.

I would suggest first playing with the dead zones in game, then if that doesn't fix the issue, use the curve adjustments in the saitek software.

Make a small deadzone. It barely needs to exist. If you do it right it will be so small you wont even notice is there.

A lot of the electronics in the x56 come directly from the x55; inadequate usb power has been behind many problems with the x 55, while it may not be the cause of your problem, it is still worth mentioning.

You went from electronics inside the hotas to electronics from inside computer. I'm confused on how these two sentences are related in anyway. Its not the hotas's fault peoples crap USBs cannot supply enough power. People should get better USB ports. I have a laptop for gods sake and have had 0 x55 power issues.

This might seem to simple to be true but my Joystick occasionally behaves in a similar way. I just unplug and replug it whilst in game. Fixed.

Also multiple USB devices can often fight for control or dominance, it's a free for all with USB. Remove any unused devices. Avoid USB hubs if possible.

Try this: Hold the stick in the position that drives straight ahead; pull out your USB lead; let go of the stick; plug in the USB.

The yaw spring has broken in my X52 for the second time, so now I just fly without it, but I found out that whatever position the stick is in when you switch on the PC becomes the new datum. I use the above procedure to recentralise it.

That's good advice.
.
Also, the X52 can be very sensitive to very slight input from wear. If that is the case, then the earlier advice to widen your deadzone applies.

thanks for the replies everyone, i found out what it was yesterday. i put the dead zone in as you guys suggested. but i had to put a rather long dead zone in for it to work, after an hour of playing it started moving to the right again, after a lot of testing with software i noticed the joy stick its self has been assembled wrong. i messaged the supplier who was amazon and they sent me another with in 24hrs. this one is perfect, saitek come on this shouldnt of got out of the factory in this state. its not like it cost 19.99 pounds. but hey im happy now and thanks again with the replies commandors
