New Yembo exploration

I was heading back toward civilisation, or at least a platform to sell my data and I called past New Yembo. Although it had been previously discovered, I was very surprised that none of it had been explored, or so it claimed. There must of been dozens of Commanders out there over the last few days and yet no-one, according to the game, has sold their data.
I scanned the whole system and the did a detailed scan of some of the inner bodies and it was worth a tidy packet, over 100000 Credits.
What I'm wondering is, is there a glitch where exploration data is being sold repeatedly? I find it difficult to believe that I'm the first person to sell the data from this new popular system.

I'd be interested to hear if you had a similar experience.

Yep, probably a bug, my friend says he explored the whole system completely with advanced scanner and surface scanner, sold it to UC, and yet it didn't show up.

I passed through there the first day the station was added in, everything definitely had a "First Discovered By" tag. I forget the Commander's name off hand, though.

Or do you mean everything was showing Unexplored even with the tag? Because that's normal, explored/unexplored applies to you only, no matter who else has already scanned the system.

What I meant was I did a detailed surface scan of some of the bodies and sold it for 100000+ credits. Surely that data is only meant to be paid for once, and it seems unlikely that's it's me wandering through several days later.

You get paid first time you explore any where.

First discovered tags are global though and is unrelated to you getting paid.
