Newcomer / Intro Newb looking for help for Cruise Flight & Stuck in a System

Good Evening, so I have to admit I'm kind of stuck, and I'm very new to this game but have played X-Universe and that OTHER online Space sim.

So I'm stuck in a system with only a star, with no docking ports or suck near my original home system, but I don't have enough fuel to get back. How do I refill, can I do that with the star? Also, maybe the system I'm in Alrai KVH B23 does have a port and I'm just not seeing it?

At the moment, there is no rescue.

If you have a fuel scoop attached, you can scoop from certain classes of star, usually ones that are yellow or orange in colour as a rule of thumb.

If you can't scoop, you can try jettisoning any cargo you're hauling to increase your jump range. If that fails, you will have to blow yourself up.

Option C: if you don't have insurance money to replace your blown up ship and the cr invested in upgrades is, you can start from the beginning just like your first day, by going to options in the main menu and selecting Clear Save.
I've had to do it both ways more than once as I learned not to fly to close to those big orange flaming balls or accidentally boost while inside star ports.
This time by a fuel scoop.
