Newbee: Where can we find a Help file with key command and stuff?

HI! I looked at a video for help on youtube and did run into a helpful one on ED as it explains things such as needing to ask permission to dock onto a plateform and some other stuff like this, So where can we read up on this so I can know what keystrokes I need to use to activate certain things?

If there is also any other user videos that you think I should look at then plz give the link :)

Thanks cody: I took a look at it and it seems like it will help , I will take a look at it in more depth later on. :)

What I did was open the pause menu and look at the controls settings to get all the key commands. At least the ones I need anyway.

I've looked at the manual but found it rather confusing: right now I'm docked at Azeban City and have the controls set to Classic Keyboard only. Could someone please tell me exactly what I have to do to launch?

Many of the controls in the manual do not appear to correspond to actual reality. I can highlight Starport services / Enter hangar and Launch with the cursor keys but whenever I highlight Launch and press the enter key I am put into a mode where I can type stuff on what appears to be the comms screen.

I can type whatever I like but nothing is sent as I cannot select a target for my communication.

I can't answer for the accuracy of the manual (which is a wip, I believe) as I don't have the game - yet!

Press esc and then have a look at your key bindings. Additionally, I'm making the transition to Voice Attack for some of the most useful commands and perhaps you should too.

Thank you, I like the tread as it will be very useful. I also liked the Vap file as I have voiceattack. :)

Thanks. It turned out that although the default Classic Keyboard bindings claimed to allow me to use the cursor keys, they didn't. So I changed them. I'm now 5,000 Cr and one docking computer richer. :)
