Newbee, Where can we find out about ship stats and stuff?

HI! I really like this game so far, I have sidewinder ( Basic ship ) but want to know what is the next best ship for me. I have a few credit now, 25k and need to know which ship has the best Cargo and which has the best weapons and so far. Where do we this out?

best we have for the moment.

go for the hauler next with 16 T cargo space, grind till cobra, then to lakon 6! dont worry about weapons if yore only trading. run if youre in trouble and remember to keep enough cash on hand for inurance/seed money for cargo. either a bug or an accident could wipe u out.

ship stats will be subject to change throughout the beta, so no official specs yet. same for weapons/equipment.

I'm currently working up a large stake to enable me to explore and try out new ships and equipment without wiping myself out.

Solid plan, I'm doing the same and just purchased the type 6 last night though I haven't flown any missions in her yet.

Recently updated with some further ship info, and I'm now revisting stations so the availability percentages of weapons and kit is starting to become more meaningful.

For everyone else, the spreadsheets (linked in my sig) are shared for your own use. Though I would ask that you don't put them on googledocs or any other shared cloud storage.
