Newcomer / Intro Newbie Source for Lore?

Hi, I'm CMDR Yepsen.

I've actually been flying for a while - I'm not totally green. I've been playing for a few months but never really focused on anything more than the pirates whic were immedietly in front of my nose.

Recently though I've been really curious about the galexy as a whole and some of the background/lore of the universe. So far I've picked up bits and pieces, mostly through youtube videos. Can anyone point me in the direction of a single place I can the past of this universe and bring me up to speed on the present events?

Like I know Dangerous Games are going on now, and I know Jaques Station was just located after being missing for a time, but on the whole I don't understand the significance but I'd like too.

The Dark Wheel is a good source of Elite lore. It came with the original BBC version of Elite. I believe you can still find it online in .pdf format.

Hi CMDR Yepsen.

I only first stepped into my Sidewinder towards the end of January 3302 coming from humble beginnings without much knowledge of what was going on the galaxy.

I would say the biggest story of 3302 before we lost (and now found) Jaques (the cyborg) and his roving Orbis starport would be:
