Newcomer / Intro NEWBIE

What doesn't launch? Launcher or the game itself?
What system do you have?
If it is a Launcher that doesn't work, try right-clicking it and choose "Run as Administrator"
If it is a game:
0) Check if your computer is capable of running Elite.
1) try to download and reinstall the latest Launcher. (hosting.zaonce.net/elite/Client-Installer.exe)
2) In the Launcher's options try to check for updates manually.
3) Then try to validate the game files from the same menu.
4) Check your graphic card manufacturer's support site if there isn't newer version of the driver. Be it nVidia or ATI
5) Try to reinstall other stuff. DirectX, MS Visual C++ Redistributable, .NET Framefork
Ultimately 6) Open a support ticket and wait several weeks in which time someone more clever than I surely finds the right answer. Good luck!
Also There is a dedicated support forum, here. You should send one of the moderators a message to rename your thread to something that suggest you need help (The topic "Newbie" in newcomers forum doesn't really stick out.
) and move the whole thread there. You are more likely to get help, then.
