I keep my machine as lean as possible process wise. It stopped Windows Explorer from running. My only recourse was a restart. I think I'll try again later .

I've learned about some interesting software (EDDiscovery), that changes the scope of the game.
On VoiceAttack, I like it - but then it's my first voice command software.
Be warned, there is a learning curve to VoiceAttack, both for the user (me & you) and for the software.
I use a modified Ripley Galactic KICS profile (are there others for ED?). One issue I had when new was that I had too many false positive commands.
Once I learned to type in a pre-fix word 'Command' for any offending orders, most of my issues were soved.

Yeah, when I recommended VA, in the past, I usually include the warning that one should first learn the game without it, before delving into VA profiles. It's much easier to understand and program once you actually know what do you want it to do.
That reminds me, I must update my thread* about a related issue (voice-packs triggering each other)....
