Since the most recent soundtrack release (Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Official Soundtrack by Dan Millidge in 2021), many new music tracks were added to the game, most notably those related to Thargoid encounters/combat (Glaive/Scythe) and ambient environments (spire sites, occupied settlements, Titans, etc.). Additionally, many existing Thargoid- and Guardian-related tracks have never been officially released.
I understand Frontier is looking for new ways to monetize Elite, so now that the Thargoid arc appears to be mostly over, I believe releasing these soundtracks via Steam, the Frontier Store, or Bandcamp would be a good idea, and I would certainly pay for decent-quality music files of these tracks. Otherwise, updating the existing soundtrack releases on Steam would be much appreciated by those of us who already have those, and would likely entice many people to buy them who otherwise might not.
