Newsletter #79, community site, and RSS

So, the latest newsletter is out, and says:
There will be no newsletter next week because you'll find all the latest news and content about Elite: Dangerous at our new Community beta site.
And the community beta site has no visible RSS feed. So rather than using RSS, or relying on the emailed newsletter, we're going to have to F5 the BETA Community site instead?

I thought dev update stuff always ended up in the newsletter precisely because players get their news via different methods?

I'm pretty sure that only applies to next week due to E3.

I see no problem F5-ing the community site...no difference from F5-ing the forums really. :D Besides, I guess they are going to tweet about any new announcement anyway.

OP, there are RSS feeds on the community site, they are just not visible and you have to go to each page (there is not one for the whole site unfortunately). I have the Google RSS Subscription Extension in Chrome and that detects them. If you can't get them let me know and I'll post the links.

That's interesting because, for instance, the GalNet page shows no RSS button in Google Chrome (would be via the "RSS Subscription Extension Plus" extension), and neither is there any mention of 'rss' (or 'atom') in the source beyond "xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/"" in the HTML tag attributes.

Now that you mention it though, I do see that the news page has an RSS feed. Thanks for pointing this out, I'll go see what the sum total of obvious feeds is and subscribe to them.

The main community page still needs a "roll it up into one" feed, or the appropriate links to all the sub-feeds.
