Green is already used by XB1 (in general, not E: D).

It needs to be crimson.
That would also be my guess. Red and yellow are too close to orange and green will probably be the season that brings landable earthlikes. I don't think these will come too soon.
Then again I have no idea what purple would stand for content-wise, it's just the only possibility that remains...

So? There's not just the puke green shade Microsoft uses for its xbox covers.

You just wait and see. We'll kick some alliance ass, get drunk during our victory celebration, and on our way back to SOL we'll spray paint an Emperial Majestic Interdictor and raid some poorly defended imperial beer production facility. We'll sober up by season 3 and be ready to fight the Emperial menace once again, but by that time those Alliance thargoid lovers will probably do something to endanger all of humanity again.

Clashing colors has been around a long time. It used to be called bad taste or gaudy. Now people think it's just cool.
Brown I'm hoping for one pretty famous insect-like alien race to make an appearance, and for some reason I imagine their skin(carapace?) colour to be brown

Seriously, the colour scheme will be the least important thing for season 3 in my mind.
