When can I transfer from ps4 to pc, I already bought odyssey on steam, since apparently its not ing coming to console. then I see no more community goals on console, amazing. then I see people were able to transfer to pc, so I go to the portal on whoop de doo it was only available for a month or so near September and yal gave players 6 days warning b4 it was canceled. I spent 700 frickin hours on this grind fest of a game and I hear that the next set of transfers (which will be available in god knows when) will not transfer everything. ing great so instead of having all my stuff transferred ima have to play another 400 hours to catch back up??? the amount of time and money I spent on this game is insane for this . When can I transfer to PC next (I even bought the whole game again)?

Why can't all my stuff transfer over (that will be absolutely ridiculous)?

Why did console players get gutted?

Does no one else think this is absolute rubbish?

I'm not trying to sound like a head but can't you see how stupid this is? I bought the game on steam thinking I could transfer, but learn I cant and when I will be able to only a portion of my profile will be transferred, with no compensation. Plus no more updates to ps4, no odyssey, and no cg's lol.

No one but the Devs know when the PC transfer option will return, they just said some time in the new year, but it MIGHT return along with Odyssey update 15, whenever that arrives - overall, we just have to wait and see...

But indeed it is stupid and ridiculous that console player and PC players with "lower" powered PCs were "left behind"!

The Devs seemingly never had any intention of releasing a "next gen" console version of Elite Dangerous (and seemingly still have no intention of releasing one!), they just "tried" to get Odyssey running on "last gen" console "behind closed doors", where they seemingly decided that it wasn't running well enough (without ever showing us or letting us judge it for ourselves!), then when it apparently wasn't good enough, said, "screw console development and PC 3.8 players!", and shoved us into the new "legacy" mode!

Anyway, I and many others are still playing "legacy" mode for what it is, mostly the game we already had minus new CGs and Galnet, in our new separate BGS, still hopeful that once they finally optimise Odyssey and have it where they want it, they "see sense" and "return to" console development, with an actual full native"next gen " release of Odyssey and "live" mode, while adding everything that they can to "legacy " mode...

All in, I've very little interest in PC gaming and certainly don't want to play Elite on one, I want to keep playing it along with new content on my family of systems of choice, Playstation, but for those who are still tempted by the "dark side", ye'll get the transfer process back sooner or later, but for now just have to wait for it .

We now have SPLIT PC servers and split BGS and split Galaxies...

So the reduced function of the cloning of accounts is very likely going to be only offering to clone to a single PC version...
When the first cloning offer happened there was no Split galaxy and BGS servers just 1 PC server and 1 progress now there split and no progress transfers in the galaxy versions...

Every one who did the cloning before update 14 was also then cloned to 3.8 and 4.0 with update 14. I expect them to not offer cloning to 3.8 version and only offer 4.0 cloned player accounts... 3.8 account expected to be zero'ed on PC if you try to run 3.8 from the cloned account...
