Regarding to the development of the last year's it could be realistic.
Come on, the post is nonsense on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin. I'll try:
Well if 100 dev have worked 1 year producing the output we have seen on Beyond that's a pretty weak result compared to horizons.
1. He compares Beyond to Horizons, implying that Horizons was way better than Beyond. Pretty sure that Eymerich claimed that Horizons was a failure as well, so I don't really see the point of the comparision. And even if I assume that he actually enjoyed Horizons, development of it actually took 2-3 years, so comparing it to Beyond is complete nonsense.
2. We have literally no idea about the challenges they encountered during development, we don't know how much stuff they started to work on and postponed or completely abandoned after wasting time with it (which happens quite a lot in video game development). It's impossible to tell how much effort went into it.
3. We don't know how difficult it was to add the various improvements, the new USS system for example might seem like a small change to you but it's actually a complete revamp, including things many people have asked for since quite a long time. Making them persistent was pretty important to me.
4. Frontier pays a lot of attention to small details, just watch the video about Thargoid swarms and how much thought and effort went into it. You could of course argue that it's a waste of time but that doesn't lessen the effort and I am quite happy that they are so dedicated to their job.
5. Just because some people personally don't like / aren't impressed by the additions and changes in Beyond it doesn't mean that everyone considers it a small update. I (and others) are pretty happy with what they delivered, that's easily missed if you just listen to those who participate in the 'the game is doomed and Frontier is incompetent' echo chamber.
And finally...
New era? Most probably a new 2d interface…
Suggesting that Beyond only consists of a new 2d interface is simply dishonest.
