The further details link doesn't work. I reserved south for the exploration path. I'll also be bringing my Python for some core mining since LTD's are essentially worthless now.

I'll jump on your Discord later after I get on my main computer as I don't have it on my laptop.

Thanks - I have updated the further details document link.
Sadly the platinum hotspots at our base location are in a metal rich ring and not metallic ring, so I think it will be platinum cores there. I won't mine LTDs myself - too slow collection rate for the value of them. Monazite core mining is the most profitable.
The further details document has info on the hotspots worth investigating, but I did record a bit more info which I'll leave here:

Planet 2 ring A Mineral and metal hotspots:
Serendibite: 1
Rhodplumsite: 2
Monazite: 2
Platinum: 2 (likely cores and not laser mining)
Planet 2 ring B Mineral and metal hotspots:
Tritium: 2 (one overlapping with Granderite)
Bromellite: 1
Alexandrite: 1
Grandidierite: 3
Planet 3 ring A Mineral and metal hotspots:
Rhodplumsite: 1
Platinum: 1 (likely cores and not laser mining)
Planet 3 ring B Mineral and metal hotspots:
tritium: 6
Bromellite: 3
Alexandrite: 4
Grandidierite: 2
Void Opal: 2
Planet 4 ring AMusgravite: 1
Check out landable planets and you can find SeleniumPlanet 5 ring A Mineral and metal hotspots:
Alexandrite: 1
Grandidierite: 1
Void Opal: 1
Low Temperature Diamonds: 1
Tritium: 3
Bromellite: 1

I'm hoping we find a platinum hotspot in a metallic ring within a couple of jumps.

For anyone in addition to Marvin reading this (we communicate in another thread too) the link in the document above to discord doesn't work. To access the Discord Fleet Carrier Owners Club channel #229-the-silver-citadel_h9h-tty_quain-marln I believe you need to join the Fleet Carrier Owners Club server and then look for the channel name inside there.

Universal Cartographics and Vista Genomics staff are now on board The Silver Citadel making their departure preparations. The commodity market manager has opened buy orders for the higher value minerals known to have hotspots at our destination. There is some scope for increasing demand in the market further if commanders get really busy mining.

Searching for it yields nothing. I did a Google search and found the link to the server but once you get there there's no way to find any subchannels.

This is why I hate Discord. It's as bad as Reddit or worse with it's completely counter-intuitive interface and operations layout. Most times you're supposed to send people an actual invite so they can have access to the server. That keeps down on the spam. I'm of the opinion that's how the Fleet Carriers server is set up: access by invite only.

I'll just post in this thread. I'll be heading over to the carrier in a little bit and transferring my core mining Python as well. Will post again once I get there.

No problem, here is good too. I can't remember exactly how I joined and it does take quite a bit of scrolling to get down to my carrier channel when you do.
I set it up because a couple of people asked if I had one for a previous trip to Rackhams Peak, and its another place to adverise the trip.

After joining the server, then the original link attempts to take you there, well me anyway; and it has the title of 229-the-silver-citadel_h9h-tty_quain_marln; but no details except "Messages failed to load" and "You do not have permission to send messages in this channel". FYI

correction; the first time, when I selected role I clicked on the wrong part. Make sure to select the right part of "PC" and then a bunch more lights up and the link worked.

I'll give that a try.
