Posted the thread for feedback, but I suppose posting about the outdoors and cost of equipment is a no go? Usually a thread will be locked and a warning issue, so I suppose that this idea is such a taboo that the only way to purge the thought of going outside was to delete the post entirely. Cool.

There are so many spammers on forums that post similar looking posts that you prolly got them confused. Believe me, I'm admin on a forum which has like 10 daily posts that look similar to yours.

It's offtopic, I don't think the hiking gear is a problem. More the spam-like looking post.
