Just docking at chango last night before I went to bed. I couldn't get a docking permission and saw a CMDR in a Hauler was flying in near to me so thought what the hell and KW scanned him. Up came a 200CR bounty.
So now I had a choice, fire in a no fire zone, risk hitting the station, for a 200CR bounty, but it is a real player... In the end we were so close to the station, and the hauler was almost going inside I thought better of it.
I then waited for a few minutes and watching him disappear off my scanner. But another minute or so later guess who then popped up again... the same Hauler/CMDR... Out he came (boosting) but I KW scanned him, and was outside the no fire zone... and he was now clear
I suspect my initial KW scan must been a worrying moment for him though, and obviously helped in his decision to pay off his bounty
