Nice to be Home!...

"Docking Successful, engines disengaged."
So nice to hear that voice after 2 months in deep space. :)

Now selling all the data..

Welcome back cmdr! From all the overreacting on the forum, you would think 2 months in space is a guaranteed death sentence.

Welcome back, commander! This first docking maneuver surely always feels awkward...

Take your time, take another look at humaniy and society... and welcome back into the void in a week :)

Wow, two months in space... bet you will get a lot of credits for that data. Most I ever spent was about a week... Enjoy, hang out at the bar, eat some proper food!

Well, welcome back. I myself have only just headed back out. :p
Last landed in Jaques station and am heading in the vague direction of the Dumbbell nebula for the moment.

It's certainly a relief to hear your ship clamp down onto a docking pad after weeks away in the depths of space.

Nice run Commander, welcome back! Share your results with us!

How many named systems and what's your total, did you make Elite with that run? :)

Welcome back commander. I've just started out on my first real exploration. Had to leave my ship floating in space last night, for the first time. That's going to take some getting used to.

Still selling Data.. I was surveyour when I left.. we'll see what I am when done soon.. The Main Goal of the trip was Sgr A*, so I did that and the Great Annihilator, and went on a little hunt for neutron stars, black holes and really big blue stars in a very blue part of the core, anfter that I headed home rather "high up" in the galactic disc.. I stopped to scan random systems along the way, and got side-tracked by pretty giant stars time and again. I have gotten First Discoveries on everything from Ice Balls, to Neutron Stars via Earthlikes and water worlds.. as for nice pictures, here's a binary pair of ringed planets:

Oh - you will get used to it. Just wait until you hit your first close binary star system :D

I had A Grade FSD and 4A fuel scoop, lightweight D-grade on everything else. Advanced Disco Scanner and surface scanner.. and I left two small pulse lasers on the ship just so I could take screenshots of myself shooting at the Great Annihilator. :) I had a small Auto Repair module, which came in very handy...

Now done selling data!.. Total profit of about 24 million credits. Ranked up from Surveyour to Ranger. Got lots and lots of first discoveries. Here's a nice picture of a Chocholate Giant with a close moon. The moon was orbiting so fast I could sit there and watch it transit in front of the planet.

I'll have to take the Cobra out at somepoint but shooting things keeps getting in the way :D

Nice.

At the rate I get to play I won't be back home before Christmas!

I've already got about 100 images to share. Will need a decent album upload service.
