These are almost the best, occasionally in my home system i'll get transport 20t of gold which just gives 200k in one go without any exchange! They should have more of these imo as you can complete them as any role quite easily

Yes these missions pay double the galactic average for anything so a high price item gets you plenty of reward.
Only draw back is Palladium average cost is about 12.5K (could find for about 12K easy) so you need near 90K to buy the cargo first. So the profit is about half the reward shown.

Can you run these missions in parts or do you have to run the whole amount in one go? I saw one the other day but could only take 4 ton in my Sidey.

Much cheaper than that if you buy from a nearby system that imports the stuff. I've got trade data from a few nearby systems so the commodities menu tells me where to source it.
