Punishing the entire Community over the Behavior of a Few is an Incredible Bad Concept for Online Forums.
The Community has no ways to reign in its People. So unlike Reality where Punishing the entire Community for its Members behavior can result in the Community pushing its troublemakers into compliance. In an Online Forum this will never Happen. Simply because the Community has no hand against any Troublemakers meaning that the Troublemaker has no reason and no requirement to comply.

It only serves to Agitate the People who get Punished alongside despite having not done anything.


Understanding for smaller Missteps.
Harsh on Intentional and Repeated Disturbance.

People aint Cows. In Fact the large majority are Fairly Gentle with each other and while they might get Heated they will follow the Rules and behave within the bounds of reasoning.
Its always the few Same People messing things up and starting to go out of Control.

So Punishing the 20 People enjoying a Topic is in Fact an Reward to this 1 Troll and a Punishing to 20 Innocent People.
This Ban is exactly the same.
Its an Big Mark of Success for the Few Troublemakers which have thus Won.
And its Punishing the Majority of People who just Enjoyed such Discussions.


The Answer cant be to give a Permanent Ban to the 20 Innocent People by Prohibiting the Discussions they Enjoy.
The Answer should be Harsh bans of the People which repeatedly go out of Control and cause Trouble.

You are wrong. Restricting freedoms of majority because of a couple of jerks is HOW WHOLE HUMANITY works. Most laws we have originated from actions of a few and influenced the whole society.

And I also disagree with your second point - people are, at large and generally, cows. They need to be told what they can and cannot do, otherwise they turn to anarchy. Scratch that. They are actually worse than cows.

In a Sense it is.
After all we are Talking about Company Politics.

As I said before this is actually one of the Reasons why this Ban to me is very Displeasing.
There is really no way to keep Politics out of things unless you do what Politicians are best at and say nothing with as many words as possible....

Let me put it bluntly. Frontier do not care about you. Your complaining will not change anything. The fact that this decision goes in my favour and against yours, is pure coincidence.

Do you mean't the vast majority are composed out of idiots idiots and sheep's? Agreed!
And anyone can think people, as the society can fend off himself and that can work out with the exception of rare few? Deluded.
Totalitarian thinking? No... Just the sad truth. I wish it can be different, and it's angers saddens me to see so much wasted potential !But honestly they don't want to change and i refuse to "dumb down" to their level and became the part of the flock, although? I need other humans as every human. But not at the cost to become a brain dead social zombie.

About laws, and the majority of how the society works?
Yet again? Agreed. They are exists because the peoples like griefers and trolls in the web, criminals terrorists con mans... Yadda yadda. And whom's using up this laws and morals against us?
Take a wild guess!

And whom's denying all forms of morals and laws?
Yet again?
Take a wild guess!

What they don't want to get it? All of these existing because of them and whomever destroying the foundations of a normal(ish) society only doing a service to them. How it can look alike can vary but you just can't threw out all the window, and hope our world still going to work.

What will happens with the world if you trow out the laws of nature? Chaos before the beginning.
