Night vision…only in Colonia?

So according to Inara , the only engineers you can get Night Vision from are located in Colonia. Or am I just reading it wrong? Why on Sol would they put both engineers in Colonia and none in the bubble? 🤷🏻

Oden Geiger does it as well - based in Candaiei which is in the bubble.

Colonia does have some engineering that you don't see in the bubble, but that's only a few ship modifications. Anything relating to personal gear in the bubble can be found in Colonia and vice versa.

Hunt long enough and pretty soon a pre-engineered suit with night vision will fall into your lap. Plenty get posted in the sharing/caring thread.

Also, if you're in Colonia you don't really need night vision because between the nebula and the galactic core even the dark sides are pretty bright.

(Given the relative unlock requirements, and the fact that suits are much more heavily reusable than ship parts, it's probably quite a bit easier to fly to Colonia, unlock the engineers here, modify your equipment and fly back than it is to unlock all the bubble's suit engineers)
