I was in training probes to make use of the Guardian Shard Gun, and I found out, soon enough, the weapon is really fun !
I put in a Cheffy 3 cytos, all modded to efficient to avoid the overheating, ( Cheffy give you that "personal" touch of close quarters fight
) - I added 2 class 3 Pacifiers modded to High Cap Ammo, one with Drag ammo, other with Dazzle shell - I found no need for faster reload, since you need to aim decent and usually you will always have time to reload between switching positions) and in that class II slot, I added the boom-boom ( the weapon sound is great) aka the CG reward, the Guardian Shard Gun.
With a fire group for cytos and wanted scanner, other for the combo Pacif / Guardian Shard, I found out you can stay with 4 pips on sys and only 2 on weapons, making the build very tanky and safe, without ANY heat problem. You can smash through Annies shields like a hot knife trough butter, ( took me some 24 seconds to delete that Annie shields with at least 2 S cells charges
! ) - after that, the Pacifiers and the Shard gun just melted the full...
I really have fun with this build, I think I will keep this as it is - is just too damn funny to change
...
Have you guys coupled the GC gun to another "fun build" ? How you mixed the weapon ? In what ship ?
