No "Alliance" Systems? Where to cash in bounty?

From the Galaxy map, under Navigation, I make sure only "Alliance" is selected.

No systems appear on the map.

I've built up a nice Alliance bounty claim, where can I cash it in?

You can find Alliance systems outside of Federation and Empire territory. Sometimes there are a few in between. Just zoom out in the galaxy map and use your WASD keys to really look around.
Edit: By outside I really mean that Alliance systems are pretty much all around that core sphere

Also search for Alioth - A lot of Alliance systems around there, being the Alliance capital!

The Alliance is at the top.

Basically, in human space, the Empire is the lowest set of systems in the galaxy, the Federation in the middle, and above the Federation are the Alliance systems. The Alliance is the smallest of the three major groups. Alioth (the administrative home of the Alliance) is about 70-80 light years above Sol.

Search for LHS 331 as a good place to cash in your bounties. The LHS 331 Values Party will give you a warm welcome at Gold.
