No Alpha Buy In? (Probably already been asked)

So I'm guessing that as we're in March already and the game is (as far as I'm aware) scheduled to be out July-ish this year there isn't going to be an alpha build buy in like there was for Planet Coaster?

Shame if not, I really enjoyed taking part in the alpha build project, giving feedback and criticism and improvement suggestions and really interacting with the dev team (directly or indirectly) throughout the Alpha progression

(that and I can't wait to get my hands on this and the hands want it now)

IGN posted on their website that it's gonna release in June. Hopefully FD will let us know the release date this month. I heard there was BIG news for the game coming out this month.

As far as a release date is concerned I have always heard June, even on the Facebook page. Fallen Kingdom comes out June 22nd so hopefully we get the game around that time. I suspect a little before. I hope they don't make us wait till the 22nd or July.

I also wish they had let some people have early access to the game. I would have even paid for it. Like $15 or $20. But it's only 2 and a half months away now, or so.

Yeah there is. BestInSlot will be playing the game tomorrow. He is in/just outside of LA now which is where the big event is being held with the gameplay near Universal Studios. He has an NDA with Frontier and he can't release anything about the game till March 29th. So as others have said there will most likely will be a big reveal between coming in the next week or so.

I'm just too hyped! I bought the planet coaster alpha as soon as it dropped (at a higher price too) and I'd happily drop the same amount on a JWE alpha buy in. I mean I literally threw my wallet at the screen when it was announced

I'm guessing in terms of pretty much all the management and build mechanics they'd all be lifted from PC anyway so I suppose now they have all the fundamentals sorted from that game they probably don't need alpha testing in the same way they made use of it for PC. I mean outside of the coaster builder I'm assuming that the entire management system will be near on the same, terraforming would be pretty much identical, as would pathing tools.

I assume as well buildings will all be prefabs as opposed to the piece by piece builder (although allowing both would be cool and again would be identical to PC's system) and I kinda would love to see some kind of crossover with coasters. I mean, seaworld has coasters, why not JP/JW? A nice inverted coaster through the raptor pen would be pretty nice. Anyway that's going off topic really
