Hey, fellow CMDRs!
I just recieved my CV1 and been having a blast with it... except in E
.
The issue is that it seems to work for 10-15 seconds, but then I get some bad stuttering. I have yet to experience this in any other game. Also
the FPS counter is usually at a steady 90- but then sometimes drop to the mid 50's, which I still thought would be within the Asynchronous Reprojection-thingys range, and shouldnt it
get locked at 45 if it kicks in? (note: all of this is while sitting at launch pad, inside of hangar, although stuttering also happens elsewhere, even in supercruise)
I am playing on a laptop, an HP Omen with GTX1060, an i5-6300HQ processor @ 2.3 GHz and 8GB of RAM, and if it is relevant, I can play this game on ultra
1080p with 140FPS without VR.
I know laptops are not the best and the processor is old, but I am asking for
help anyway, just in case there is anything that can be done.
I have tried unparking all the cores
What graphical settings I choose doesn't seem to make much difference, if any at all (found a couple of combinations on these forums, but still the same issue)
I've tried with HMD quality and SS at low
I've tried with two sensors (in case of tracking issue)
I've tried updating everything I can think of
I went and bought a powered USB-hub
Any advice, fellerinos?
