Missions pay a credit reward with some giving Engineer materials in addition.
If I'm in my FDL or other ship rigged for combat, I seldom use a cargo rack.
A lot of missions are therefore unavailable to me until I equip one. Would you support opening up these missions to players and if they don't have a cargo bay at time of turn-in, they just get the cash equivalent for those materials? Sandro did say the value of any reward mats are deducted from the overall payout. If there is no cargo bay, giving us the cash equivalent means we are no further ahead cash wise, but it does give us flexibility for the assassination and combat missions.
