No Cash Restriction in Sandbox???

It's normal, everyone to his dream, everyone at his Jurassic Park dream in mind. And they are about to get it in the very near future ...
But what everyone forgets is that NO ONE does not have the right word or that his idea is alone and not another. NO ONE ... except for the Devs and that everyone forgets it by confirming everything and anything in their place convinced that it is THEIR idea that is the best. And that irritates me very strongly!
Let Frontier work a bit, we will make a beautiful game and nobody can take it away. Whatever they decide ... Bravo guys!

I actually feel bad right now for frontier. They have had to release so much info because of the complaining of the community. Reddit is absolutely horrid at how bad people are to each other. Here at least we are civil for the most part if we disagree.

Technically they didn't, but I think many of the community are starting to become a little more controlling with the release of more information. Before it was valid criticism, now it's just people complaining to get what they want. And their wants aren't unfounded. It would be nice to have the option to control funds. But I believe the behavior behind it all is unwarranted. One reddit thread was begging for an option to manage funds. Begging? It's not going to destroy the game for one island out of all 6 to have unlimited funds. That's exactly what is the issue about the behavior. People are acting as if managing funds aren't in the game when it's the majority of the game.

I personally think there should be a shift in focus. Members of the community shouldn't be hung up over having the option of something that already exists in the game. The focus should be at having customizable settings as a whole for sandbox. That goes beyond fund management.

the division I think that comes because the frontier community together with the fans of jurassic world then it is clear that there will be much difference of opinion and little accustomed to frontier methods.
but I do not think that it is a really toxic community, if you want to see a toxic community see the halo community or the League of legends, here we say what we think without insulting and that is essential for a good development of the game because that is what the community, to participate to say what they think, if there will probably be some bad person who complains about complaining about everything, but the game they created is perfect

The community in general is divided about anything. I have honestly never seen such a divided gaming community. No matter what the devs do there is one group that is praising and thanking them and there is another that is literally nitpicking ever word they say apart and chastising them for it.

It's to the point where I feel like if they aren't happy with what they have seen so far they need to just go away and look for some dev studio that is doing what they want with another Dinosaur based game. One of the issues is that people hyped themselves up with unrealistic expectations. A lot of them aren't feasible. Then you have the people whining about things that aren't issues, were already fixed or are being fixed.

I read some posts years ago on one JP fan forum and the poster was criticizing the JP fanbase. I have to say they were right. They were described as whiny man children. This isn't everyone. But from what I have seen on Reddit they are correct.

From what I understand Reddit is garbage no matter what topic you are posting under. But yeah the JWE sub Reddit is pure toxic cancer.

FD should have never have given into the whining, raging and childish fit throwing over the Spino roar and the AI.

I just saw it, I can not believe there are people like that and above is a developer listens to the fans, poor frontier :c.
One thing is to say that it would be good to put a customizable sandbox mode and another thing is that ...

It did help a little though.
Bo's post did made some of the negativity go away for a little while but it seems no matter what FD does they just cannot win, because many have made up their minds and want exactly the game that they want and nothing else.
It doesn't work that way and I find it very disappointing that not all people seem to realize that.

Yes, that is well worded. That's sort of what I was getting at. Without some sort of customizable option it isn't really "sandbox" because there is some sort of limitation.

I am not on reddit, nor have I read it, so I don't want anyone to get the impression I am someone who has posted whatever incendiary comments people apparently post there.

I actually have not played any computer/ video game, or bought one, in about a decade. This one just caught my attention because it looks so promising; I played the original zoo tycoon as a kid, along with JPOG. Its' clear the devs have done a really outstanding job on the meat of the game. Throwing in options for sandbox just seems so trivially simple to do, it almost seems a disservice to not do it. It certainly won't detract from the game in any way, and if anything it seems like it would just make it more appealing to a wider audience and increase re-play value.
