Newcomer / Intro No "clear-save" option to reset game

So I was trying the game for the first time, to give it a go, but it was really for my younger brother and he wants to start from the very beginning, all the training, but since I already started I'm somewhere else scanning a satellite. I was checking how to delete saved data or "reset" the game and it says on frontier.com "To do this, go to the Main Menu, select Options and then select Clear Save."
In my options, there is no "Clear Save" only controls, network, audio, graphics, and nothing else... what the hell!!
How do I reset it from the beginning? start from scratch

You don't get the option if you have already loaded the commander.

Exactly! So how is it done? It seems "normal" one could begin from 0!

You would basically delete your commander in the main menu. It will remove everything though - any ships, money, everything.

Start the game (click the Play button - it's not in the launcher, you actually go to the start of the game), and it will take you to your Start screen that has your ship displayed. The menu is on the left. Click Options and to the far right is 'Clear Save'.

Your opening menu says "Start" rather than "Continue" - you may have deleted the CMDR already?

This is the first thing I see when I hit play. I would like to "be" in the hangar where it all starts!

Just select "skip tutorial" (words like that) in the escape menu - it will take you to the commander creation screen.

Yep. that's the tutorial, so no actual game started yet. You can do the tutorials from scratch at any time after you have started a new game.
