No Coaster Builder at alpha launch?

That's very dissapointing. To pay 75 dollars to only place paths and buildings at alpha launch is absolutely ridiculous, since I would atleast expect to be able to build a single coaster type. I see the stuff about the code though, but I'm assuming that's a Coaster Head feature?

Ah, I saw the stuff for the cheatcodes now :). At first I was pretty upset considering it was missing a core feature at the exciting alpha launch, but with atleast one coaster available I'm sure it'll keep busy.

To access coaster building, open a map and select the ‘Rides’, ‘Scenery’ or ‘Buildings’ tab, then select the ‘Search’ option (a magnifying glass) and enter the code ‘underconstruction’ (all one word) to enable the coaster construction tab.

And one last question, any confirmed time on the actual releasing? I was hoping for sometime today in EST time since I won't be able to play for the next week after tonight, but I'm hopeful!

@MKelley - I felt ripped off because at one place it said it was available, then when they explained the phases system, it showed the coaster builder wasn't until a later phase.

the planet coaster builder is actually in the alpha, but its hidden specifically because they haven't got a good enough UI working yet... you can access it by doing a search under the rides and type undercontruction lower case... and u can get it that way...

No confirmed time, but Frontier work 9am to 5pm UK time (currently GMT, as of this post it's 5:36pm). Expect the big red button* to be pushed at some point during those hours.


* They literally pushed a big red button to launch Elite: Dangerous!
