No collision for scenery and decoration items

As great as the gmae looks so far, after watching some gameplay vidoes I was terribly disappointed to see that collision for scenery items seems to still be a thing

Why? Why limit creativity in such a way? Please, please get rid of this restriction so we can have free reign over how we wanna build up the environment in our parks and make them look as unique as possible. It would also be amazing if we could at least place rocks in the lagoons so they aren't just empty tanks...
