Has there been any detail if the Diamondback is a Fed only ship? To be honest I was disappointed the Corvette wasn't released either but I don't think it is whining to be sad about not getting more details for something I'm excited about seeing. Maybe soon lol I'm hoping end of summer at least. Maybe they need the balance between ship size and faction rank but the empire gets all the nice stuff as it is haha comparing the dropship to the clipper is "often" (maybe not always) a one sided conversation. Who cares which side gets what though I am excited waiting for that sexy looking beast the Corvette

I'll agree if the Courier isn't an Imperial exclusive. As the Vulture is not a Fed exclusive (Though it has Fed navy numbers on it).
I honestly hoped the Corvette would be released... Then again, not like it makes a big difference either way.
Maybe they are saving that ship up for a payed dlc?

While I'm *hoping* the Vette will be a better and dedicated battleship than the Conda, this raises a balancing issue. A battle Conda can be a pretty insane fortress, 8 guns, up to 1300 MJ shields and enough power for a shield cell even. An even better one would be all but invincible. One that's just equal or worse than the Conda has no place beside it.
Dunno what have you been grinding for? No one made you, and no one confirmed the corvette was going to be in 1.2 or 1.3.
I like the Power Play, but still bummed that Corvette is not there yet. Kind of feels unfair that Empire now has two faction specific ships with one really excellent all-rounder (Clipper) and Federation is stuck with an army transport with nothing to transport. Oh well, will give me time to hoard the cash.
I'm not understanding the backlash regarding the Corvette. We know they're working on it, certainly, but they never promised to release it for the 1.3 update, or on any other timetable for that matter.

That's a combination of things that were never promised and things that are promised to come, yet you act like it's in the game now.
It's perfectly fine if you don't want the ship to be released (for whatever dumb reasoning) but your criticism is pretty ridiculous.
This. Corvette and Cutter in 1.4. Although we only saw concept art a few weeks ago for the Diamondback.
