No-Guest Zones

It'd be nice if we could get place-able no-guest zones/boxes for paths.

I make very wide paths and frequently place planters with trees and lamps down the middle of long paths that act as a spine through my parks. Guests appear to have a tendency of staying quite central, so they walk straight through these lamps and planters and it looks a bit silly. I have an example at the bottom of this post.

So could we please have some sort of path option or tool, or place-able object even, to let us restrict guests from entering certain patches/zones. And maybe within these same options we could also allow or disallow staff and guests, so we can create staff only zones, etc. I know a lot of people want this.

Have you tried kerbs or barriers (under scenery)? You can search the word KERB there are different sizes available. You can lower the kerbs into the ground so you can't see them. I often place them around planters like you mentioned so no one walks through them.

the curb/barrier option does work, but a single circle and/or square, already built and sized would be great and quicker and easier than placing 4 separate barriers. Great idea.

Would be very practical, also i'm still missing the good old "employee only" sign (RCT 1-3) to actually create backstage areas and shortcuts for the employees.

Have you tried the barrel planter?

That's about the same size as a lamp post and it you sink it below the ground, the peeps will avoid it. I use them and the barriers sunk below ground all the time to stop peeps going where they shouldn't.

That's a good workaround, but something like a specialized object that could filter between guests and employees would be awesome, too.
