NMS has heavily improved and it's great that it has but I would not call it GOTY. 2017 has been, ultimately, a good year for games.

And since it was released in 2016, it's too late for it to be GOTY. It had its chance in 2016.

It would be really great if they did add that. Not sure how they would do it though. Might be a challenge.

Anyway, I really do enjoy the new story lines in there, not so much the Atlas, but the Artemis path was actually quite fun. It shows how you could have a story that anyone can play, even though it's in a massive, "infinite", "multiplayer" universe. ED could have story line the same way, and it wouldn't feel as shallow anymore.

What's funny though, the mission system in NMS is almost like it's been copied from ED. And it even has the same thing of mission stacking! LOL! Like killing sentinels or life forms. Take on a couple, do it at one place, and you get them all checked. They might have fixed this since I last played though.
