No Man's Sky vs. Elite Dangerous vs. Star Citizen - What's the Difference?

Sorry no. That is what you are all about.

Hmm...
I never care about money in games. Money always comes along anyways with normal gameplay. ED is the first game where I've felt money is the main objective.
But yeah, it's all how I percieve it. So in a way, you're right.
I do wonder though how NMS or SC will tackle this.

Completely agree here but Nevermind on that. I played eve online for about 9 years nd saw it go through many changes. If there was ever a game that should have been about money it was that one. However what I liked with eve was that the processes and mechanics of the gameplay was interesting. Trading, combat, exploration, crafting. All the mechanics were the same at whatever level you wanted to take it to. You were rewarded in line with the effort and risk associated all based around engaging mechanics with some degree of effort and skill involved. If NMS and SC can do this then they'll be great. I suspect SC has a better chance of doing it. NMS is just beginning to look very arcade to me recently. ED needs a complete overhaul.

I'm interested in NMS, because of that single player offline mode.

not requiring a constant internet connection, would be great fun while traveling.

Edit:
I'm curious about star citizen too, but that buy in price is way to high for my taste.
