no mic in game but works for voice attack

Anyone in the PC world experiencing the in game comms where I can hear my teams but they cant hear me, but my voice attack works fine while playing? It all started after the latest windows update.

are the in game control bindings for transmit etc checked & unchanged
is anything muted in the game sound controls
the fact that voice attack works as you say rules out pc
but as a further test a confimed chat over a voip like discord or steam teamspeak etc will be 100% proof
so it has to be an in game setting is my bet that or a new bug
or even a router setting ie upnp not enabled worst case scenario
