No missions of any kind

I was at Sirius last night. There were no missions, regular or passenger, available from any faction. I tried switching mode, logged in and out, left it an hour while I had dinner, and still none. None of the factions were in lock down.

Is this a known phenomenon with a known cause, or a bug I should report? Any solutions known?

I haven't tried again today.

Every so often, I see claims that Sirius is barren. I don't know what the problem is, but it seems to happen occasionally. If you're trying to become allied with Sirius Corp then you may want to check other systems they have expanded into. If you just like the system, you might be screwed for a little bit. There isn't much that can cure barren mission boards other than mode switching.

I'm allied already but I want the Qwent mission. I was planning to hang around the system and just do whatever missions until it spawns.

Yeah, mode switching at all ports was my last resort when it happened to me. It eventually worked. Worst engineer experience ever. Good luck, friend. May Qwent favor the mission boards this day. Lol

Same boat here. Sirius Corp status is currently investment and the mission board is dead. Took me days to get the Sirius permit, and now two days on, no Qwent invite. Strangely though, it was appearing at another station in a different system, but of course was unavailable as I hadn't unlocked the Sirius permit. I've tried every station and planet outpost in Sirius and nada. So yeh, not good.

Are you maxed out as allied to Sirius. I ask as I did this the other day. A couple of hours after getting the Sirius permit I maxed out rep with them and got Qwent so I suspect you need to be allied. by X% over the line for it to kick in.

As for being barren, seen that too when many other cmdrs around. Same for other engineer mission grinds too. I suspect they only have say 1000 misiions at any one time so if a popular grind at that time you are just at the end of a very long queue and miss out. I would suggest grinding up to max in neighbouring systems if not already there then go look.

It's worked for me when grinding rep for a permit before and while I like to imagine the RNG gods just love me, I think all the permits and other invites to new engineers are a % of rep at friendly, allied or engineers level. It's just that the ones set at just hitting a level at 1% rather 50% fool us into thinking they should all kick in straight away

Ok, thanks for he insights. I'll just try going back on at a less busy time and see if things have improved in terms of missions

currently also stuck in Sirius for 5 days with 25 modular terminals in my tasty cargo, cant really do much else than log in a couple times a day and check. ive modeswitched all stations, done more missions in Procyon, sold expl. data, traded, no qwent invite so far. 100% allied too.

when is 2.3 going live anyway ?
its getting pretty boring as the Sirius' mission boards are empty or messed up

My guess (it's only a guess) is the Quent mission is causing the board to blank out. 2.3 is in beta now so I would think another few weeks before it goes live.

This is still an issue. Spent 2 days getting allied and for the last 24 hours the boards in Sirius System and all ports are dead, Nothing. Complete waste of game time.

I was in a wing with my friend and he had no missions and mine was full, it's a very annoying bug.
Had the very same issue in Achenar the other night at the evacuation.
