I noticed that even if choosen in the game menu ( HMD headphones ), there is no sound in my rift.

Right click on the speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner of windows.
Select playback devices tab
Is your oculus rift the default device?
If not, right click it and select it as default.
Hope that sorts it.

Are you getting audio in other VR apps? My built-in Rift headphones no longer work as I think a connection in the headset is broken. If this is the problem you should contact Oculus support if you are still in the warranty period.

Actually in Windows 10 you can just left click the tool-tray speaker icon and then click on the name of the audio device to change it back to "Headphones (Rift)" or whatever it is.
Yes my device is set to default, i have sound with other apps , but not in ED , weird.
Also i have a recent broken connection in my HMD , the right earphone is not working ( not the fault of the earphone though), something is broken inside, i 'm in contact with oculus support for replacement, hopefully i can play with external heaphones, but the quality is lesser than the oculus ones :/
