No more fighting then stopping for 10 minutes then fighting again

I don’t like it when I’m trying to get a dinos combat infamy up so I have it fight a dinosaur which should take 1 minute or so but then the Dino I want to die gets to 20 health so the dinos pause the fight for 10 minutes then start fighting again that’s why the 5000 combat infamy achievement takes hours to do at least give the option to toggle it on and off in sandbox
 
Idk. On one hand, I do think a dino who's way stronger should have a decent chance to simply take down the other: a genetically engineered Roid Rex bites a Carnotaur's head off and doesn't play games. But on the other hand, animals in nature -especially predators- are cautious of unnecessary conflict, will mostly put up threat displays to get the other to back off without a real fight, and, instinctually, neither wants to risk injury (unless they feel cornered). I think it would be more weird if dinos in JWE didn't part ways for a bit after a point was made in most fights.
