No More Hyphen?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a recent deliberate change but I can no longer use hyphens in the ship ID. The change happened with the last update and I haven't seen anything in the patch notes. Anyone know anything about this?

That'll either be a bug or a feature, depending on if they can be rrrsed to fix it.

I know I can use one that was in the ID before, but not create a new one.
I'll give copy-pasting a try when the server is back up.

It's a confirmed bug, according to the issues tracker.

Thanks for the responses yall I was wondering if it was just me. I discovered if you want to keep the hyphen you have to now edit the old ID instead just delete
it

Thanks for bringing this up, I was going to mention it a few days ago but I couldn't think how to word such a simple issue without confusing everyone
