No more missions

At first it seem's fun and all but then when you get a mission to deliver data or something too a station you can't be closer then 900km before it drops you out of cruise you understand that for 50k credits you wasting your time. I do understand theres some other missions, but their all rubbish aren't they? Can any veteran player put their hand too a heart and say this missions was exiting or brilliant no its bloody fetch quests with kill quests nothing more no puzzles no excitement just tedious work. Let me put it this way I already have a job i don't need a second one.

So my suggestion either make them fun or take them out for good. Too make them fun take example from the secret world those puzzle missions are brilliant and when you finally do the quest theres that feeling of achievement. I mean we got space with endless lore and potential like none other why the bloody hell are we doing fetch quests.

One thing you don't have to do missions. So why take them out? Also try to give a suggestion how to make mission better. Describe a mission you would like to do and I also suggest other players to post their idea what a mission should be.
 
I suggest this option because in reality their misleading people that start a game do missions too a point that make them see it as fetch and kill quests and they leave. Not every one go too forum or read pilles of guides on how too have fun majority of people jumps in the game hoping for the fun too be present its recreation that were paying not tedious grind.
 
I've been playing the game since beta, and doing missions is probably the first I did most, followed by bounty hunting.
With that said, allow me to give some feedback.

In the past, missions were much worst. The payout was really terrible, you have no idea.
Now, after becoming an ally of the minor faction you can easily get missions to pay between 500k and 1MM, without having to do something illegal.
If you go to passenger missions it can pay you up to 5MM without even having to fly thousands of ly.
So keep in mind that the payout will increase as you improve your reputation with minor factions, and right now is pretty decent!

The missions are necessary for this reputation system, so taking them out will break the game mechanics, but you are right in one point. There isn't anything special about the missions.
It is like they are meaning less because you can do tons of missions for one minor faction and what you might see is the faction having a boom. Yey!

One thing which should be done to make it more relevant is to give us some benefit for being an ally with the minor faction.
Let's say you are allied with the system minor faction controller and get interdicted by a player or a NPC. The police should come right away to help you, come on you are an ally, bring the Condas!

By the other hand, if you want to help raise a minor faction to power in a system, this should be a little clear on how to do.
These dynamics which run on background simulation are very unclear and slow.
It's possible FD might be afraid of someone breaking the game, but I tell you, I would love to help my system controlling faction to take over the surrounding systems. Can I do it? I have no idea because it's still not clear to me if by doing missions and taking them to a boom, one sole pilot can make this happen.
