No more Oculus (Experimental) mode?

After not having played in some time, then updating I seem to have lost the option of oculus mode in graphics settings. Is there a trick to enable this? I'm using oculus run time 0.5.0.1 which worked previously.

I noticed in the Single Player Combat Training from the launcher, the option is still available, but not in arena or game mode from the launcher.

Don't know about 0.501, but in the latest version of the game, the Oculus selection in the graphic options drop down is HDM (with speakers) or (headphones). It no longer mention oculus by name.

The selection is under the Graphics Option 3D setting and select HMD / Speakers or Headphones - I think that is what you are looking for.

I seem to be missing the option you referred to. In the single player combat training it still shows the option as Oculus experimental (not HMD as mentioned) which works but in the other game modes it only shows Anaglyph or Side by side as 3d options and when choosing side by side it doesn't apply the lens distortion. Not sure what happened but this was working previously I just haven't played in a bit.

You need to run the full game (or arena I guess). That combat training version in the launcher hasn't been updated for a long time and I think it requires 0.4 or older oculus runtime.

The "Training" option in the main menu of the full game has the combat training if you're looking to do that again.

Also make sure the headset is plugged in and working. If the game doesn't detect it at launch it won't give you the option.

Thanks Spork it seemed like a detection issue and it was. I was swapping between run time versions for development and had lost a few dll files in the process. Just in case others need I'm including a reference. My mistake...

LibOVRRT64_0_5.dll in windows/system32
LibOVRRT32_0_5.dll in windows/syswow64 - this may only be necessary if you're running 32 bit client

Both files are from the 0.5.0.1 runtime available from oculus web site downloads section.

I tried this mode but I can only see the front, I can't look to the side or behind me. It seems like some screens are not available. Am I doing something wrong?
