Horizons No more player made time-lapse videos?

I like to explore- a large part of my enjoyment of Frontier comes from just going and finding amazing vistas, beautiful sunsets and planet rises ect.

I know the problem. You're a time traveller from the past aren't you? You have some how used magic to get Frontier working on the ED servers!

Reading all this, my conclusion also is that you are still too close to the Bubble. Go 1500 lyrs out and it would be surprising indeed if you were discovered. But also, carrying that cargo is risky.

Had the chance to try this again. Out of the bubble, solo play, no cargo, in the Pelican Nebula. Same result got randomly destroyed after approx 7 hours.

From what I understand you have to be at least 1000 LYs out of the bubble to stop encountering random NPCs.

Yeh I have to say the random spawns of npcs while on the planets surface is complete manure.

Was looking for surface poi's and had to attend real life for around an hour, I was in the room keeping an eye on the screen.

Nothing happens.

I leave the room to get something to eat, no more than 5 mins gone...come back to ship destroyed.

My fault of course, should have logged off.

But I don't see how spawning an npc after an hour of no movement. Has anything to offer in terms of gameplay.

Complete - move by devs to allow these auto Afk npcs finders.

Sadly no just ancient and with it confused it seems! And they would go call themselves Frontier Developments and confuse me further! Wish I was a time traveller though I'd have the accelerate time button back.

That's a real downer.
I've recently completed a stint of sitting at the alien/ancient site for over 4 continuous days, barring disconnections, without being fired upon.
The longest run without a disconnection was 25 hours.
Turning everything off and getting the heat below 9% seems to make my Cobra III invisible.
.

I've used this software:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/autoscreen/
.
This seems to work well so far, for a free program.
.
I had set it to take pictures every 5 minutes.
I just need to compile them into a video now.
I had a quick go to prove the technique with MS Movie Maker, but haven't done it properly yet as I want to try and fill in the disconnection time bits using Photoshop so there are no jumps.
