No one will attack me

Since getting my anaconda a week or two ago i have not had a single npc interdict me while trading is this normal or a bug?

park it just far enough away from the letterbox that you don't get blasted but close enough that everyone has to fly around you?

NPCs should and do (though it's really iffy) have some sort of threat assessment ability that keeps them from attempting to engage ships they are certain to lose against.

I only have a 1.3 mill shield on to stop scrapes in the station im sure they could get that down.

I'm only in a Cobra yet never get interdicted these days either.

They have no way of knowing that.

If you were an NPC viper or cobra pilot would you interdict a player anaconda? I wouldn't, and it's pretty rare to see a larger pirate ship hunting in supercruise. Until we can be interdicted by whole attack wings I think your trade runs are going to be fairly mundane.

In fairness, I haven't been interdicted since I bought and fully equipped my Viper. Just doesn't happen any more.
But happened almost every trip with my Sidey...

Weird but I get interdicted by Pythons and anaconda's quiet often mind you I enjoy that as I am normally hunting them saves me the hull damage

my first trip in the anaconda got me interdicted, i think cos it was not armed. since then the npc´s stay away.

Yes mine is fully armed with turrets gimbaled pulse lasers and the huge plasma accelerator, maybe thats putting them off

I've had a Python interdict me once in my conda (yesterday), other than that no. In my Python I didn't get many interdictions either, I think only the smaller ships get regular interdictions but I suppose it would be silly if the larger ships were constantly getting interdicted by npc eagles etc. Maybe when new ships are introduced they'll be more variety for interdictions.

In my current Clipper route, I've been interdicted by NPC twice in the last what, 12 hours of game time? So something is up.cthe route before this I got interdicted rather often (normal NPC rate), same ship

I've been interdicted once in my clipper (which admittedly is armed to the teeth), and that was by a python.

I switched to an Orca for two days and was interdicted about 8 times in that time. I think it's working as intended.
