No one will attack me

Interdiction frequency was changed way back after a lot of trader whine and is more dependant on the security levels of the region in which you fly than was the case in beta. I am guessing you are tootling between a couple of stations with high security trading your way to glory, head out to the anarchy systems and you will be interdicted soon enough.

If you think that's bad try completing those 'Destroy 4 pirates in CZ Booty IQ-X-92' naval rank missions.

Nothing ever interdicts you and 9 out of 10 USS's are toxic waste or rebel transmission canisters.

Took me almost 2 hours to destroy 4 pirates last night. This was in an anarchy system too. Must have found hundreds of toxic waste, artwork, rebel transmissions, ancient artifacts, and trade data in all the USS I tried.

I interdicted an npc condas with a 100K bounty. He chewed me up and jumped while I was running to bring my shields back up I did not chase him. Cost me 2500 credits in repairs

Protip: Just hang around the nav beacon or RES (if there is one in the system) and shoot everything with a "wanted" status. Should take that time down to 20 minutes max

edit: just saw you meant an anarchy system... nevermind, KWS everything and shoot anything that has a bounty on its head

If you really want interdiction so badly, park your Annie and jump in an unarmed T6. Be prepared to scamper away.

(I like the word 'scamper')

The bigger the ship, the less you seem to get interdicted by NPC ships. I've had 4 NPC interdictions (All anacondas) and 4 human interdictions (all pythons).

All I can say is... be prepared :)

The problem is getting another ship into the same instance of normal space where you can use the KWS. Interdicting is out of the question because each time costs you 500k hull damage. They won't interdict you. There's no nav beacon in those empty systems chosen for pirate hunting missions. So all that's left is USS's. And for some reason you almost never encounter ships in USS in an Anaconda, 90% of them are abandoned cargo.

If you ever want to uplift a friend who is just starting out, have him follow your Anaconda around into USS and scoop up all the canisters you find. Woot free money.

and then be fair about it and tell him to sell on an oputpost without security ships... or be an jerk and tel him at Sol?

Carrying a few tons of rares might help. Like moths to a heavily armed flame.

Nay, I had 432 tons of gold and still no interdictions.

If I get another pirate hunting mission for naval rank I should probably just buy a disposable Viper to use. Doing it in the big banana is a pain.

I'm talking about actual rare commodities like lavian brandy. I don't know about recently, but I remember not too long ago getting interdicted ever few light seconds trying to drop off rares. But when I do some normal trading, it's very rare I get interdicted.
Could just be observational bias though :T
