No Patience - Freeport Just Now

I am in disbelief, I am in a type 9 ALREADY IN THE ENTRANCE of the freeport station, and another type 9 inside the station could not wait 10 seconds for me to finish coming though....... no!!! far better to them to try and leave at the same time, and not by passing me on my left or on my right (not that you can even do that with those ships), by just coming directly at me.

If you are in a type 9, and there is another type 9 already coming though (that is to say in inside the blue part of the entrance) , HAVE SOME SODDING PATIENCE ! you will keep your ship longer !

I wonder if we will ever get some actual traffic control to deal with the ingress/egress situations..

Understandable post. Due to bugs in the netcode it might happen that you see the other but the other doesn't see you. Still the netcode determines both to be doomed. Ticket this, it might be that the devs figure something out.

If this is the case then I take back my hand gestures and mooning out the window to them. and will log the ticket as you suggest.

It is possible.
There's about 10m of clearance either side of the ships and also between them.
However, I have not yet seen anyone try two Lakons.

Luckily no. I was knocked into the side wall of the station, but I had full shields on and survived, as for them , it would have taken me 9 months to rotate on the spot to see if they made it or not. For the record I did not hear any explosions.

I am parked up now, as my amazon order of Starfleet ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Fleet-...UTF8&qid=1405681080&sr=8-2&keywords=starfleet) has just arrived, I used to love this show when I was younger, might get one episode in before the formula one practice two starts...

I have been wondering, what will happen when the multiplayer beta is launched.
I am sure some people will try griefing by ramming near or inside stations. How would it be dealt with?

Not so sure of 2 Lakon's ...but I'd be interested in trying

A lot of people seem to play this issue down, and feel it isn't that much of a big deal.

But just wait until Standard Beta and Gamma - this is going to be a HUGE issue. The docking isn't made for multiplayer.

That said - I saw in the DDF thread that there will be docking queues of some type eventually. If we get them, we will avoid most of this problem.
