No Pilot's Federation in Shinrarta?

Who is braver, the meat shield, or the huge guy hiding behind some 5 foot 2 bald guy with glasses. You know, for arguments sake.

That actually makes a ton of sense. I would not be too surprised if they were more powerful, as an entity, than one or two of the other superpowers combined.
Not even with a scanner?
So, we can pledge to them? What are the bonuses? Any special kit for higher levels?
We're already members.
Bonuses include:
- Heavily discounted insurance
- Deep discounts to small and medium ships and their kit
- Safe channels of communication to the criminal underworld
- Near-immunity to criminal prosecution
- An overwhelming sense of superiority over the rest of humanity
- A Free Sidewinder is always an option
I would presume that they are a different sort of Power, but being Commanders in the Pilots Federation, such as we are, I would also presume that we're all actually already "pledged" to them.
It works for me well enough, since this is more or less how I've approached the game anyway already.
Weird that this wasn't noted in the 2.4 change log.
It is definitely going to be a bit strange if the BGS causes some other faction to be in control of Shinrarta Dezhra. Or will the BGS for this system be frozen? I assume that the Dark Wheel will end up being the most influential, but if control of Jameson Memorial is frozen to the PF then the DW won't get overall control of the system, nor will any other faction.
If the PF are a superpower now does this mean anything else in terms of the game? Or the story?

According to eddb.io, Pilots Federation owns Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra only when they used to own another planetary base in Li Yong-Rui systems if my memory is correct.
